t is very good to report the excellent news that those foreign teachers still in Europe now have official letters from the Shenzhen government giving them permission to return.
They are all now in the process of sorting out visas and flights. Getting appointments for visas is actually very difficult because they have to use a nominated Chinese Visa Centre and in some of them it is very difficult to secure a slot. There are also reduced numbers of flights to China at this time and they will obviously have to do quarantine on return all of which adds to the timeframe. However, we shall have some of them back immediately after the October holiday and the rest later that month.
They are excited about returning and we are very much looking forward to seeing them here. Meanwhile, they are in contact with their co-teachers and the classes.
With best wishes,
